Hi, I am Tiffany Skinner. I am originally from South Arkansas and grew up in Monticello. My mother told me that even as a young child, animals just seemed to love me, and me them. No matter the creature big or small, I loved them all. I wasn’t always sure I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I certainly knew I wanted to do something with animals. I did my undergraduate studies at Arkansas State University and after college, I moved to Northwest Arkansas. I began working in general practice as a veterinary technician in Springdale, AR and absolutely loved it. I moved to Tulsa, OK prior to veterinary school and was blessed to work with the staff at Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists. I worked in the 24/7 ER department where I gained an extensive amount of veterinary technical skills and emergency training. I continued to work there while I attended Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University. I thoroughly enjoyed having Dr. Laura Nafe as a professor in my academic years and as a clinician in my clinical year. I love all small animals and see not only dogs and cats but also small pocket pets, rabbits, birds and reptiles. I have personally owned all kinds of critters such as turtles, lizards, snakes, rats, parrots, dogs, cats and mini pigs as well as both freshwater and saltwater fish. I enjoy spending time with both my four legged kiddos and my two young human kiddos too! I absolutely love working alongside Dr. Larry Nafe and all the amazing staff here at Hillcrest Animal Hospital. I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing family.
