Dr. Caroline Pennington grew up in Dumas, Arkansas. She began volunteering at the veterinary hospital at a young age and fell in love with veterinary medicine. She received her B.S. degree in biology at Ouachita Baptist University and earned her DVM at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, she completed an externship at Hillcrest Animal Hospital, and then officially joined the Hillcrest team in the summer of 2017. She and her husband have a lab mix, Goose, and two cats, Gypsy and Sebastian. The dog is always happy, and the cats are never satisfied.
