Dr. Hodges grew up in Paragould Arkansas and knew from a young age he wanted to work with animals. In 2007 he graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science, then attended Mississippi State University where he graduated top of his class and with honors while obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Hodges moved to Mobile, Alabama to begin his veterinary career. Dr. Hodges has always had a passion for surgery and has been trained in some of the most advanced procedures veterinary medicine has to offer. Dr. Hodges has dedicated many years to traveling the United States learning the most up to date endoscopic, orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Dr. Hodges is an active member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society and Veterinary Endoscopy Society.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Hodges can be found playing the guitar, enjoying a football game or just enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Hodges, his wife Kara and their 2 children, Brennan and Ally enjoy traveling and spending quality family time together. Their 4 furry children include 3 dogs (Ben, Bailey and Nugs) and RJ the cat.
